The Big O is a global collective of documentary filmmakers, artists and producers.

We make films that offer new perspectives on our world, films that unsettle expectations, that question prescribed truths

We met in the summer of 2013, studying on the DocNomads EMMC programme. After spending several years together, we created the big O to extend this collaboration. A chance to unite our visions for collaborative projects and to provide production support for individual projects.

The big O is run by a small team, but we work closely with filmmakers from 22 different countries.
